I'm at Lake Kitch-iti-kipi in the U.P. of Michigan. It's a huge natural spring. I think I was standing in the off season water overflow area by the looks of it!

Boat tour! I'm on a boat tour at Pictured Rocks in the U.P. of Michigan. It's a national park. One day I want to go back to camp and hike all through that area. They also have kayaking around the base of those cliffs. Maybe when I'm at Michigan Tech I'll have an opportunity to spend a weekend there. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Ahhh, The Mystery Spot. This place isn't far west on Highway 2 from St. Ignace, Michigan. What a weird place! I think it may be a gravitational anomaly. Check out the angle between leg and foot of the lady standing next to me. I'm balancing on the back two legs of the chair, apparently leaning way forward but I was perfectly comfortable.

I'm in an iron mine at Iron Mountain, Michgan. We rode a small train at least a half mile in, then got out and walked. On our walk in a bat zipped by us. We're wearing hardhats and raincoats because it was dripping wet down there!

My friend Anna and I tried rag-rolling our hair a few years ago. This is my stylin' shot with my curlers (rags - note the loose threads collecting on my shirt) in my hair.

Arizona, I was about 19 or 20. That's Gretchen I'm holding. She traveled by airplane from Michigan to Texas, then by car to Arizona. When I moved back to Michigan she again traveled by car. She was one well traveled cat!
